In the Watershed wormseed wallflower is an exotic plant native to Europe and Asia that, although it may be naturalizing in the Watershed, is usually found in ruderal or roadside habitats, such as the floodplain of the Rio Grande in Alamosa. It was first collected from the head waters of Sangre de Cristo Creek in Costilla Co (1900). Scattered records come from all states of the USA except for Texas and the deep South. It follows the Rio Grande drainage only to Rio Arriba Co in New Mexico.
