- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Of Draba malpighiacea, named in 2007, there is only one Watershed collection, in Conejos Co, close to Trujillo Reservoir, NE of Cumbres Pass (determined by Ackerfield). SEINet shows six other vouchers, all from the San Juan drainage, in Montezuma, La Plata, Mesa, and Hinsdale counties. Previous to 2007, authorities had included D. malpighiacea in D. spectabilis, and it remains to be seen how many Watershed herbarium vouchers by that name are really D. malpighiacea. This new species is a Colorado endemic.
