- Of narrow tansymustard there are only five records in the Watershed, very scattered, including upper montane and basin. There may be more, since some herbarium vouchers labeled "Descurainia pinnata" and "D. incisa" may be D. longepedicellata. For instance, a 1937 Rio Grande record was determined as D. pinnata (Del Norte, 1937, “very common among rabbitbrush”) but re-determined as D. longepedicellata by Weber in 1993. The photorecord above comes from close to Del Norte. The USA distribution covers all states W of the Great Plains. The Watershed locations, with a few from northern New Mexico, mark the southeastern corner of this distribution.
