- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Of the native Pennsylvania bittercress, there is only one record from the Watershed, labeled just “Conejos” (1981). This would be the farthest south of the Colorado distribution, of a species Ackerfield calls rare in Colorado. It has not been recorded from the Rio Grande drainage in New Mexico or Texas. In the USA it is the most wide spread species of Cardamine, recorded from every state except Arizona.
