Pale madwort is an exotic accustomed to dry conditions, and is quite likely to spread in the Watershed. In Colorado it has been recorded to the east and west of the Watershed. Hogan and Elliot (2022) found by roadsides and trailheads on the eastern slopes of the North Cristos wilderness. In New Mexico A. alyssoides is recorded from the Rio Grande drainage in Rio Arriba and Taos counties.
