- Large-flowered stickweed is common on open slopes of the lower montane and in dry washes of the foothills, on both sides of the Valley. There are no records from the Culebras, but an abundance of records from the Cristos in New Mexico right up to the border with Colorado. Hackelia floribunda is present in all USA states west of the Great Plains. It follows the Rio Grande drainage down through New Mexico, with one location in Jeff Davis Co of Texas.
