- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For Aunt Lucy, there are only four locations, scattered around Valley, three in foothill open terrain (a mile ENE of Terrace Reservoir, 2004; the Old Spanish Trail W of Monte Vista, 2004; Rio Grande SWA, 2003), and one in pinyon-juniper woodland (Sangre de Cristo Creek, 1900). Some of these records suggest roadsite habitat. The locations are at the southwest corner of the USA distribution (Rocky Mouontains, Great Plains, Midwest), and mark the south end of its presence in the Rio Grande drainage.
