- Comments
- Although Xanthisma coloradoense is scarce around the Watershed, it can be easily found in a few locations: Grayback Mt (Rio Grande Co), Brown Lakes (Hinsdale Co), Spring Creek pass (Hinsdale Co). It is also common in Cochetopa Park on the west side of Cochetopa pass, but it has not been collected a few miles away on the E side of the pass, in the Watershed. This species would be endemic to Colorado except for occurrences in two Wyoming counties bordering on Colorado. The Watershed collections, of course, are the only ones from the entire Rio Grande drainage.
