- Comments
- In the Watershed Tragopogon pratensis is generally found at higher elevations than T. dubius, and in wetter habitats, but the ranges of the two species do overlap. So far the exotic T. pratensis is confined in the Watershed to the south San Juans. There are locations scattered throughout the USA except for the deep South. T. pratensis follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico to the Mexican border but no farther down river.
