- Stemless Easter daisy is common locally (e.g., the San Juan foothills S and E of Del Norte). Its Watershed distribution is restricted to the south San Juans and the north Cristos between the Sand Dunes and slopes of Mt. Blanca (3 records). In the USA the species ranges from the desert Southwest through the Rockies into the western Great Plains. It has been recorded from the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico to the Big Bend country of Texas.
