- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Alpine dandelion has only six records from the Watershed, from the alpine in the San Juans and north Cristos. The presence of Taraxacum scopulorum in the Culebras is based on the distribution shown in BONAP, which indicates Costilla Co and Mora Co, new Mexico (with no SEINet vouchers). The species is not recorded from farther down the Rio Grande drainage. Its USA distribution is the Rockies of Colorado, Wyoming, western Montana, and parts of Idaho.
