- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. There are only five collections of Taraxacum eriophorum from the Watershed. Four of the locations are around the Stony Pass area, the other NW of Creede near Baldy Cinco. The main USA range is limited to Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and north-central Colorado. The Watershed locations make an isolated extension to the south of this range. The species has not been reported from farther down the Rio Grande drainage. Note that FNA does not even mention this species, apparently including it in Taraxcum ceratophorum. Ackerfield and BONAP do accept it, based on the color of the cypselae ("reddish" rather than "light brown").
