- For Symphyotrichum ericoides there are only five voucher locations in the Watershed: Mirage (11 miles SSE of Villa Grove, Saguache Co); Baca NWR (Saguache Co); Forbes Park (Costilla Co); “Blanca” (probably the town, Costilla Co); and 4 miles E of Antonito (Conejos Co). The 2017 photorecord adds a sixth record, also from Conejos Co. The species is common and wide spread in the Rocky Mountain, Great Plains, and Midwest, with scattered, possibly adventive, locations in the East. It follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico to Val Verde Co, Texas (just east of the Big Bend country).
