- NEED IN SITU PHOTORECORDS. From the Watershed there are only three records of Eaton's aster, along FR 380 NE of Elwood Pass, Rio Grande Co (2002); 3 miles NNE of La Manga pass, Conejos Co (1984); and 10 miles E. of Ft. Garland Costilla Co (1977). The species is listed in SLV Conservation Plan, 2015. Symphyotrichum eatonii is recorded from Taos Co in New Mexico, but no farther south in the Rio Grande drainage. It is found in all Western states of the USA, with the Watershed locations lying on the southeastern corner of the range.
