- In the Watershed, Senecio crassulus is a high-elevation plant much more collected in the mountain regions on the west of the Valley than on the east. There is only one record from the Cristos (Willow Lake, 1999, Hogan coll). In the USA, the species is common throughout the Central and Southrn Rockies and the Intermoutain regions. It follows the Rio Grande drainage in New Mexico only down to Santa Fe Co.
