- In the Watershed, there are only seven locations for Pyrrocoma uniflora, all on the west side, in high montane meadows. The Monte Vista NWR is an anomaly but within the elevation range of the plant given by Ackerfield. This species of goldenweed is found in the central west of the USA, and the Watershed records mark its extreme SE range. It does not follow the Rio Grande drainage into New Mexico or Texas.
