- Comments
- In Colorado, Pyrrocoma crocea is primarily a west slope plant, but it spills over into the Watershed in the south San Juans of Conejos Co and Rio Chama of Archuleta Co. It is a montane plant of forest clearings and moist meadows, but not common. There are less than ten collections from the Watershed. The USA distribution is mainly the Southern Rockies of Colorado and New Mexico, with scattered locations in Arizona and south Wyoming. It follows the Rio Grande drainage only through Sandoval and Santa Fe counties.
