- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS Two specimens of Parthenium alpinum were collected ca. 10 miles north of the border with New Mexico, between the Rio Grande and Jaroso (1990); and then a third in the same vicinity, on hills above Costilla Creek N of Jaroso (2014). This feverfew has scattered locations in Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. Most are from the Front Range, although the flower has been recorded from McKinely Co in the far northwest corner of New Mexico. The three Watershed collections are the only ones for the entire Rio Grande drainage.
