- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For the Watershed's only Lorandersonia there are four locations: Henry Road 1.24 miles W of Hwy 285 (Alamosa Co, 1993); City of Alamosa, Shadowwood Drive, "population destroyed by home building" (1999); La Botica in La Jara canyon (Conejos Co, 2017); and the Great Sand Dunes NPP (Great San Dunes Plants Species, 2005). Ackerfield and BONAP show Costilla Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. This plant prefers sandy washes and flood plains. There are records from Rio Arriba and Taos counties of New Mexico, suggesting the plant may be looked for in the Lower Basin of the Watershed. It is found in northwest Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, western Colorado, and northwest New Mexico.
