- Field daisy is on Colorado's B list of "noxious weeds," but it hardly deserves that categorization in the Watershed. Most of the few collections of Leucanthemum vulgare have been taken from forested montane country in Conejos Co. So far there are no records from the east side of the Valley. The Shaw Lake photorecords (2013, 2022) and the roadside photorecord on Hwy 149 northeast of South Fork (2022 iNaturalist observation #130847203) would add Mineral to the counties indicated in Ackerfield (2022). The latest occurrence is a volunteer at street side in Del Norte (photorecord 2023). The species, an exotic, is present in every state of the USA, but follows the Rio Grande drainage only as far as Otero Co, New Mexico.
