- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. In the Watershed Euthamia occidentalis has one location: Monte Vista (Rio Grande Co, 1932, Ramaley coll). Note that Ramaley’s 1920 collection is not from “Alamosa” (written on the label by another hand) but Weld County. BONAP shows Conejos Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. The distribution of E. occidentalis is largely the USA West, but it does extend into the Great Plains of Colorado and Kansas. There are scattered occurrences in the Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico down to the border with Mexico, but none from the drainage in Texas.
