- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS There are ten or more records of Erigeron pulcherrimus from the Watershed, all by J. Flaig in 2003-2004 from the west side of the Valley. The determinations need to be confirmed. The locations in Saguache, Mineral, Rio Grande, and Conejos counties are outside the distribution in Colorado, which is on clay in the far western counties. Ackerfield doesn’t accept these records. But note a 2018 iNaturalist observation (#12970158) from just east of San Antonio Mountain, a little south of the Colorado border, within the Rio Grande drainage. BONAP shows Costilla Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. The USA distribution is northwest New Mexico, southwest Arizona, west Utah, west Colorado, and central Wyoming.
