Comments
For Erigeron philadelphicus, the Watershed has only two records: Mineral Co, 5 mi NW of Creede, North Fork of the Rio Grande, Antlers Ranch (1990), collected and determined by William Weber; and Rio Grande Co, by paved parking area of store in Del Norte beside Hwy 160 (2022). This native fleabane, so common in the Midwest and on east, and in the Pacific coast states, is sometimes treated as adventive in Colorado and New Mexico. It occupies disturbed ground such as road sides, irrigation ditch sides, and fields. The species follows the Rio Grande drainage down to the Mexican border but no farther downstream.
