- Erigeron eximius is a common montane and subalpine fleabane of forested slopes all around the Watershed. It has not been collected from the Culebras, but there are many observations from the Cristos of New Mexico. The USA distribution is largely confined to Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Arizona. The species follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico and as far as Jeff Davis Co of Texas.
