- Not frequently collected from the Watershed, but present in the Upper and Lower Basins and surrounding mountains, Erigeron canadensis likes disturbed ground and tolerates alkaline soil. The Del Norte photorecord observations would add Rio Grande to Watershed counties indicated in Ackerfield (2022) and BONAP (2022). This exotic has been recorded from every state, nearly every county, in the USA, and steadily follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico and Texas down to the Gulf of Mexico
