- In the Watershed, the range of Ericameria parryi overlaps with Ericameria nauseosa in the foothils, but extends on up into the higher montane. Judging from herbarium records, it is more common in the west of the Valley than in the east, although Hogan and Elliot (2022) found it at lower elevations in the North Christo wilderness. Its USA distribution is centrally California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and northern Arizona, southern Wyoming, and northwest New Mexico. It follows the Rio Grande drainage halfway down New Mexico but no farther.
