- Taper-tipped hawk's-beard is common in the USA mountains west of the Plains but rarely encountered in the Watershed, which would mark the extreme SE corner of its range. The Mineral Co photorecord needs to be verified. BONAP shows Saguache and Conejos counties, with no vouchers in SEINet, and Allred et al., 2020 show Rio Arriba Co in New Mexico.
