- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For Cirsium neomexicanum Ackerfield (2016) and BONAP (2022) show Conejos Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. The location is reasonable, since there are records from Archuleta Co and from most counties in New Mexico, including Rio Arriba and Taos. The thirstle, primarily a Southest USA plant, follows the Rio Grande drainage to the Mexican border with New Mexico.
