Comments
Rose heath, quite common in the Watershed, is typically a plant of open foothills, although there are records of it in the North Cristos on Hayden Creek at about 8,000’. In good years it can cover hillsides. The USA distribution centers in the Southwest, but it extends up into much of Colorado. It is a common plant of the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico on down beyond the Big Bend country of Texas.
