- Alpine sagebrush is a common tundra Artemisia, recorded from all mountain ranges of the Watershed. Artemisia scopulorum is a Rocky Mountain species, its range extending through Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and the Cristos of northern New Mexico, where it follows the Rio Grande drainage only as far as Santa Fe Co.
