- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. The one voucher that falls within the Watershed, indexed as "Conejos Co" by SEINet, actually is from Larimer Co, CO (see label). Two iNaturalist observations, however, fall within the Watershed: 8 km north of Saguache Municipal Airport (Saguache Co, 14 June 2019, #26990608); and Pinyon Flats cpgd, Great Sand Dunes NPP (Alamosa Co, 19 Aug 2014, #854870). This second occurrence lies within an area of much human traffic and may have been adventitious and ephemeral. Otherwise in Saguache Co, all records fall west of the Continental Divide, where the closest location to the Watershed lies along Hwy 14, just 8 miles west of Cochetopa pass (Rich Haswell, photorecords, 26 Aug 2021). Artemisia cana is a Great Basin and Southern Rockies plant, extending partway down the Rio Grande drainage in New Mexico.
