- For Arnica rydbergii there are just three Watershed locations, all on the west side of the Valley: at Cumbres Pass in Conejos Co (1986), W of Antero Peak in Saguache Co (1998), and along the Continental Divide in Hinsdale Co (1999). The species has not been recorded farther down the Rio Grande drainage than the observation from Cumbres Pass, which marks the southernmost reach of this high-elevation Rocky Mountain species. Its USA distribution extends up to the Canadian border and farther west into the northern Cascades of Washington State.
