- Comments
- In the Watershed, Parry's arnica is Infrequently collected, although it is present in the subalpine of both the Cristos and the San Juans; e.g., Blue Lake in Conejos Co (1986), E side of Wolf Creek pass (1944), and along Sand Creek in the north Cristos of Saguache Co (2010). Its flower heads lack fully developed ray flowers, its stem is often branched near the heads, and its leaves are sometimes dentate. The Watershed marks the SE corner of the USA distribution. The flower is not recorded from the New Mexico Rio Grande drainage or farther south in the drainage.
