Comments
For broadleaf arnica there are only six locations in the Watershed, all from the South San Juans. In the rest of Colorado, Arnica latifolia is also local, largely found in the central ranges. Its distinguishing features include sessiles leaves and brown cypselae. Its occurrence in the Watershed marks the southeastern corner of its USA distribution. There are a records from Rio Arriba and Taos counties of New Mexico, both bordering the Watershed.
