- Kaibab pussytoes is a common montane species on the west side of the Watershed. The only collection of Antennaria rosulata from the east side of the Valley is near La Veta pass (Costilla Co). The locations in northern New Mexico, however, are from both sides of the Rio Grande drainage. In the USA this tiny lower-elevation Antennaria is primarily a Four Corners species, largely found in Utah, northeastern Arizona, southwestern Colorado, and the top two-thirds of New Mexico. Note that the species is dioecious, some plants with pistillate heads, some with staminate heads.
