- Whitemargin pussytoes has been collected from only four locations in the Watershed: Saguache Co, along the Continental Divide near Baldy Lake; Saguache Co, west of Villa Grove; Rio Grande Co, Beaver Creek campground; and Conejos Co at around 8,800'. BONAP shows Costilla Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. The USA distribution covers mixed conifer forests largely in four states: Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. This pussytoes follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico, with an isolated occurrence near Big Bend country in Texas.
