Comments

For this species of ragweed there are three vouchers by three different collectors (2004-2013), all from the area around Terrace Reservoir, Conejos Co. The 2024 photorecord from the parking lot of a restaurant near South Fork would add Rio Grande Co to the Watershed distribution indicated by Ackerfield (2022) and BONAP (2022). The flower follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico from counties bordering the Watershed to the Mexican border (but no farther down the river). The USA distribution is scattered through the mid-Western states, from Canada to Mexico.
