- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Francis Ramaley collected Agoseris agrestis from around Villa Grove (1934) and Del Norte (1930). The few later locations are at much higher elevations: e.g., near Red Lake (Conejos Co, 1986), 10 miles E of Cochetopa pass (Saguache Co, 1939), Deep Creek near Creede (1937), near La Veta pass (1936). Note that Ackerfield treats this species as A. glauca var. dasycephala, and gives the elevation range as 5,500 to 12,500 feet. BONAP treats it as Agoseris x agrestis, and shows the USA distribution confined to Utah and central and southwest Colorado.
