- Ageratina herbacea has only three Watershed records: McIntyre Ridge, 4-4.5 air miles ENE of Saguache, 1999, Saguache Co; Great Sand Dunes NPP, Alamosa Co (see Great Sand Dunes Plant Species, 2005); and east flank of Twin Mountain northwest of Del Norte, 2023, Saguache Co (iNaturalist observation 184813098). There is a small population at the Hwy 160 overlook 6 air miles west of Wolf Creek pass (not in the Watershed), observed in 1985, 2004, 2015, and 2023. The plant is native to the Southwest USA, with Colorado marking the NE edge of its range, which may help explain the scarcity of observation from the Watershed.
