- Hall's milkweed is a locally common sight along roadsides around the Watershed. There is only one Basin record of it (10 miles N of Alamosa); the rest are from foothill and montane ecosystems. Sharples (2017) found it "uncommon" in the South San Juan Wilderness of Conejos and Archuleta counties. Its USA range is the lower mountain elevations of Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. Allred et al. (2020) note that the single collection from New Mexico is from Colfax Co (on the border with Colorado), dated 1896.
