- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Oddly enough, for antelope-horn milkweed there are only two records from the Watershed: vicinity of Devils Knob, SW of Saguache (Saguache Co, 2004); and 1 mile W of Terrace Reservoir (Conejos Co, 1975). Why so few? Asclepias asperula is familiar milkweed and readily identified. It ranges both to the east and west of the Valley in Colorado, with over 20 collections from Archuleta Co west of the Divide, and supported by many records follows the Rio Grande drainage down through New Mexico and on down past the Big Bend country of Texas.
