- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. There are only two records from the Waters, one from the headwaters of the Rio Grande (Hinsdale Co), the other from Saguache Co, Wild Cherry Creek, north Cristos. This hybrid may be under-recognized. Allred et al. call this name a "catch-all taxon," since it represents a range segregated hybrids between Apocynum androsaemifolium an A. cannabinum. There are scattered records of it from all regions of the USA except for the central Great Plains and the Deep South.
