- Comments
- Not as frequently collected as Apocynum androsaemifolium, A. cannabinum is recorded mainly from the west side of the Valey, with only one voucher from Crestone on the east side. Some of the higher elevation collections—in the south Sawatch range and the south San Juans—may be Apocynum x floribundum, a hybrid between A. androsaemifolium and A. cannabinum. A. cannabinum is common in the Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico and Texas down to the Big Bend country—as well as throughout the USA.
