- In the Watershed vouchers of Constance's vesper are restricted to the Sawatch Range and the South San Juans, none from the Cristos. Around Del Norte, Rio Grande Co, Vesper constancei is the earliest native plant to appear in the spring. In the USA, its range is confined to the mountains of Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. It has been recorded from about halfway down the Rio Grande drainage in New Mexico but no farther down stream.
