NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For longstalk spring parsley, the Watershed has only three locations: volcanic slopes north of the town of Saguache (1915), the basalt Hwy 285 cut south of the town of Saguache (1985), and alpine in the north Cristos E of Cotton pass trail, at 12,000' elevation (1982). These, and the few locations in Rio Arriba and Taos counties of New Mexico (some in the Rio Grande drainage), mark the southeastern edge of the USA distribution. Note that distributional botanists have differed in their treatment of this plant: e.g., BONAP (2022), Cymopterus anisatus; Ackerfield (2022) and Weber & Wittmann (2012), Aletes anisatus; Montana Field Guide (2022), Cymopterus longilobus; SEINet (2022), Pteryxia hendersonii.
