- In the Watershed, there have been only a few records of spring parsley. Most come from the foothills of the north Cristos: Alamosa Co, “Blanca massif"; Saguache Co, Sand Dunes, Isobel Creek, and just SSW of Creston; Costilla Co, 5 miles ENE of Ft. Garland on Hwy 160; Alamosa Co, western city limits of Alamosa. The only west-side record is from Rio Grande Co, 0.25 miles W of Fulcher Gulch. BONAP and Ackerfield (2022) show Cymopterus glomeratus as much a west-slope as east-slope plant in Colorado. The relatively few records from the Watershed in part may be due to its early flowering, usually some time in April or May. The species follows the Rio Grande drainage down New Mexico into west.Texas. The USA distribution covers the Rocky Mountains and most of the Great Plains, up to the Canadian border.
