- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. There are two Watershed locations for sticky goosefoot: the east Upper Basin, in vicinity of the Great Sand Dunes (1991-2000; and the Sawatch Range, 10 miles NW of Saguache (2003). This exotic, which often naturalizes, is fairly wide spread in the Intermountain region and on west, with a scattered presence in all other states except Oklahoma and the Deep South. It follows the Rio Grande drainage down to the Big Bend country of Texas.
