- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. So far silverscale saltbrush has been collected 12 times in the Watershed, mostly in the Upper Basin but once near Blanca in Costilla Co and once on a dry rocky mesa SW of Capulin. It can be found scattered through most states west of the Mississippi, with occurrences intermittently recorded down the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico on to the Big Bend country of Texas.
