- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. The Watershed has only one record of Juniperus osteosperma, Flaig 2004, 12 miles NNE of Del Norte, near Old Woman's Creekâan identification needing confirmation (there is no photo of the voucher in SEINet). Ackerfield and BONAP, however, accept the determination. The tree is found in the San Juan River drainage of Colorado. The Watershed location, and more in the Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico down to Sierra Co, would mark an eastern point of the USA distribution. The species is present in all Western states except for Washington and Oregon.
