NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Eggleston's sedge of the New World has been vouchered only four times from the Watershed: Steels Canyon west of Villa Grove (Saguache Co, 1896); along Geban Creek, NNE of Creede (Saguache Co, 1984); Devils Park southeast of Leandro Lake (Costilla Co, 1986); and three air miles northeast of Chama Peak (Archuleta Co, 2004). Carex egglestonii is a higher elevation sedge of Utah and western Colorado, with only a few locations in southern Wyoming and New Mexico. The locations in the Watershed would be the only ones in the Rio Grande drainage save of a few occurrences in Rio Arriba Co, New Mexico.
